A step to Langkawi ;)

Imagine Cup Poland 2010

If you have been following my blogs,

you should know that I participated a competition called Imagine Cup,

organized by Microsoft,since I mentioned the process of my involvement

in the competiton in my previous posts.

After my group members and I completed the beta version of our system,

*Beta means not yet completed but functionable.

I recorded a video to show our system and submit to Microsoft.

After some time for Microsoft to filter the candidates....

And here comes the result!

The email I received from Microsoft to inform me that my team was selected to enter final round

Team Rotund'jere is selected to enter the final round!

So we'll go to Langkawi on May 17-19.

Hmm...I dont know whether being selected is a good thing or bad? :(

Maybe I should take this as a challenge,to explore or enhance my knowledge??

大韩民国

今天..今天...我要blog了，

因为有了我一直都很向往的话题---韩国！！！

今天偶然的看到了韩国旅游景点的新闻，

就是位于首尔龙山区的“南山塔”，

现在改名为“N首尔塔”，是首尔德地标之一，

也是欣赏首尔美景，了解韩国历史与传说，

拍拖和休闲的好地方！

N首尔塔

N首尔塔里有很多种设施，

包括泰迪熊博物馆，情人锁区，还有空中厕所！！!(男人专用哦！)

泰迪熊博物馆展示的不是泰迪熊，

而是要通过那些熊熊来讲述韩国人的生活面貌，

从凡夫俗子到皇亲国戚，再到韩国怎样转变成国际性的大都市。

爱情锁区

N首尔塔里还有一个地方散发着浓浓的爱的香气~

爱情锁区是情侣将自己另一半“锁”在一起，

永不分离的地区。

这里有难以计算的爱情锁，

锁上印有红心，情侣照或爱的宣言。

据那里的导游说，

十多年前有一对情侣在那个地方锁上第一个锁头，

并许下山盟海誓，

结果呢，其他的情侣就学他们，

上了锁后，就把锁匙丢下山，

两人就像丢了锁匙的锁一样，永远无法打开，永不分离。

由于锁越来越多，山下的锁匙也无法估计，

影响环境，环保局只好不然人在那里锁上爱情锁了，

可是还是有人偷偷地在那里“锁上自己”，可是没把锁匙丢下山了。

韩国人的传说

韩国人“神与熊”的后人

韩国人的历史跟中国有很大的关系，

可是中国人自称是“龙的传人”，而韩国人则自称是“神与熊的后人”，

所以才会以熊熊展来展示韩国人的’生活态度 ^^

在韩国人的传说中，

他们的祖仙橝君是神与熊的儿子，

故事是这样的...

很久很久以前，神的二儿子对天堂的生活感到厌倦，

就在人间最好的净土“韩国”居住下来。

一天，一只公虎和母熊来找神的儿子，想变成人类。

于是神的儿子就开了两个条件：

1）住在山洞100天不见阳光

2）只能吃蒜头和喝草茶。

公虎住了一段时间忍不住了而逃走，

留下母熊自己一个在山洞。

100天后，母熊走出山洞时感觉自己身体起了变化，

变成了漂亮的少女，

她急忙向神的儿子道谢，

神的儿子被她的美貌吸引，

两人最后变成夫妻，

还生下了韩国人的祖仙橝君。

韩国人是不是很有想象力呢？

Object Transformations: Computer-Mathematics

When we are in Form1...Form2..Form3..Form5...

We had been studying object transformation in Mathematics.

Typical object transformations include:

Translation,Rotation,Reflexion, ....

So I think every student should be familiar with the following images.

There are many types of object transformation in Mathematics

Rotation

Reflection

I believe that many students think these type of transformation are useless.

They might think that what for we study these kind of things?

However,they don't know the knowledge that we learn

in lower level actually can be applied when we move to the higher

level of education.

Especially when you become a Computer Science student.

I am going to show you how object transformation can be applied in

Java2D Graphic Programming
